Ethans P.O.V:

The clock struck midnight and I went downstairs. I couldn't get any sleep, I was way too stressed.

Grayson was already sitting outside on the step and I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking.

I walked outside and Grayson got up. All the packs started getting together and they stood in front of us.

"Alright so we all know the plan, yes? We all go into the forest where Skye was last seen, we all split up from there and if anybody sees any weird things going on, even if it's an unfamiliar scent, tell us. We're attacking together. Whoever doesn't listen will be persecuted afterwards. This is important, if somebody decides not to listen, the whole plan is fucked and then I'm gonna be really pissed off" I say, Grayson smiling like he's obviously amused. I roll my eyes and shift into my wolf. Grayson and Ian does the same and we all start to walk to the forest, Grayson, Ian, and I both leading.

I could sense Skyes pack didn't trust us really and struggled to follow us. That's a typical rogue thing, they're very loyal to their Alpha/Luna.

We walked into the forest quietly. All that could be heard was the leaves being trampled on and the sounds of our paws tramping on the ground under us.

We stopped at a point and that's when Grayson gave us the order, nodding- meaning we all had to split up. I trotted off and some came with me. I started to smell the ground as I trotted off, trying to track any scent I could get.

"Keep smelling the trees. Some alpha males mark the trees and you might be able to get a scent" I mindlink the wolf next to me and he nods.
