"Ah! Nate! So glad of you to join us," Nikki greeted but without warning or insults wolves from my pack including Daniel and Jane lunged towards the guards but unfortunately one of the men of Nikki shifted into his wolf form and his wolf was an enormous brown wolf. He was almost as two times bigger than Nate but he was no ordinary werewolf. He was a cursed one, a cursed werewolf is where you are the Alpha and when you kill a witch who happens to be a good and innocent witch then you will be cursed by her spirit meaning when that person shifts into his wolf form he would have no control on who he attacks.

The big brown wolf then lunged at Nate everyone and everywhere was a mess. It was like we were on a battlefield. Something then snapped in me as I saw the big brown wolf scratch at Nate making him whimper I then shifted instantly into my pure white wolf clawing at the one person who I have always hated even from the first day I laid eyes on her. Nikki screamed and growled as I was on top of her but in a blink of an eye she shifted into her wolf and also started clawing at me, in the corner of my eye I saw Nate as he tried to dodge the big brown wolf and come to my aid but he was struggling since the big brown wolf wouldn't let him go. The pain in Nate's eyes as he watch his pregnant mate fight alone her enemy who is her sister.

'Hold on Skye, I will come to you' Nate's voice appeared in my head 'You stole everything from me' Nikki's voice growled in my head. Suddenly my father appeared at the door way in his human form but once his eyes landed on me and Nikki- he ignored everyone else as he made his way furiously towards me and Nikki. He then pulled Nikki off and shouted "Nikki get off your sister," but then Nikki pounced on father not caring if she may scratch or claw him to death. I howled at them trying to make anybody nearby help them. My father shifted into his great Alpha wolf and he did not do any major damage towards Nikki all he did was push her back like she was some kind of little puppy.

'Nikki stop this madness!' my father linked us all so everyone could hear some were too busy fighting off the very strong guards while others took a quick glance at my father. 'madness?! this isn't madness this is taking back what's rightfully mine!!' Nikki growled baring her sharp teeth making her look like a real rogue due to her messed up mind and one blind eye. I quickly had an idea I ran upstairs letting no one notice me I shifted into my human form and grabbed the first thing I see so I wouldn't be naked I then grabbed a gun that Nate had but the problem was as I checked the bullets there was only one bullet meaning only one person I could kill.

My blood ran cold but I then bolted downstairs still in my human form and raised the gun but I was torn on who to kill. My father was struggling as Nikki tried snapping his neck and more rogues were arriving and one was trying to help Nikki but on the other side was a whimpering Nate as the big brown wolf almost tearing him limb by limb. Sweat was running down my face, my heart was beating twice as fast as its normal rate. My finger was on the trigger but still I had no idea who to kill with my eyes closed and my heart stopping for just a second,

I pulled the trigger...

The sound of the gun echoed through the room. Skye's heart hitched up to her throat, she didn't know if she chose the right person to kill but as of now Skye wasn't in the room filled with fighting, she wasn't holding a gun nor was she deciding the most difficult decision on her life.

She was back to a child where she would dream about how she would meet her mate, how they would see each other for the first time and it would start out with a hug rather than a kiss, she imagined how he would ask permission from her father so they could go out on their first date. How they both would stroll around the territory in their wolf form and not be scared of the possible danger that lurks within the woods. She would already plan her wedding by choosing what flowers she was to hold or what color would her eye-shadow would be.

She didn't expect her mate would be the enemy and they would go through so much drama and problems that would lead her to hold a gun. Especially when she is pregnant with her mate's baby and not the way she planned or expected but she loved Nate more than ever, she loved to the point she would risk anything- except their baby- to protect him, to do anything to keep him within her reach. She never imagined she would find out that her mother wasn't her real mother and she would be reunited with her father, she also never imagined she would have a sister who is a traitor or for short would be a bitch. Everything that is happening in that moment Skye didn't plan nor expected but I guess life isn't easy and it isn't fair.
