Stefan POV

She was supposed to be asleep, not wandering around. When she looked at me in all her pink glory I couldn't help but stare, she looked like a little angel something I missed for so long.

My eyes were met with hers, my wolf knew she's his, my second chance. I walked toward her taking by her spell, she touched my fur caressing her slim fingers through my coat. I was enjoying her touch more than everything. I wanted to mark her as mine the idea pop into my brain, it was my wolf side. Although I agreed with him I can’t let him do so, I raise my head and take control back. I leave her there and take off toward the woods, she wasn’t supposed to see me in the first place.

Having our baby girl around the house made us all agitated we couldn't sleep, the twins were on patrol but the rest of us we just needed to run and burn some energy, turning around all night with her smell taunting me wasn't helping.

First I thought I lost her, that she stayed home, maybe went back inside waiting for one of us. Just my luck the first wolf I run in to is my alpha Christian, he smelled the little girl on me and things went west then. I was in deep shit then, but to make things worst we heard two wolves fighting, Christian take off to the commotion point with me following behind.

God was I wrong when I assumed Nala would stay back. She followed me and almost got hurt!! Thank god Kane was also on patrol this morning.

He had one of our most aggressive pack mates on the floor, Fred wasn’t that bad he just had some trust issues. When meeting strangers his first reaction is to fight and run them off our ground.

She wouldn’t go in no matter how much Christian tried to nudge her in, she was back to looking at our eyes. She was smarter than we gave her credit for, we all saw the moment she understood everything before she fainted.

We looked at each other worried what do now? Ryland was the first to shift back and carrying her inside and tucking her in bed again.

we all shifted back and went to the family room. I think alpha is going to kill me. My wolf keeps whining and I agree with him I just hope Christian isn't that mad at me.
