Nala POv

Today's Sunday and I get to sleep in since it's the weekend. I open my eyes I'm sleeping with Kyle and Kane in Kane's bed, the sun is streaming in since he and I quote "love the feeling of morning sun rays" I turn to the other side and bury my face is Kane back. We're having a pack barbecue to celebrate my friends Lilly graduation, she's a certified nurse now and I'm so proud of her. I think it's still early and I close my eyes.

The next time I wake up it's to the feeling of kisses on face, neck, and someone else is kissing my back nape. Uhmm the joys of sleeping with twins. I keep my eyes closed but I can feel my lips turning up and smiling.

"Morning sugar had good sleep," one of the twins ask not sure whom. I just node happy with my morning treatment. "Ohh no no sweets you going to have to open those blue eyes for me," the other twin says, I shake my head too happy and content right now.

Till I feel the slap on my butt I open my eyes squeaking "Hey not nice".

"It did get you to open your eyes didn't it," Kane says

"Up you go sugar, I got your bath ready let's go" Kyle adds.

I let them drag to the bathroom, I know they'll do all the work washing and conditioning my hair, Kyle will brush my hair afterward and Kane will put some lotion on me. You got to love being spoiled. I feel like a princess with them.

After we're done Kyle brings me my outfit for the day a pink romper with a flower pattern on it, with some matching sandal.

Of course, I woke up late, and by the time I'm ready to go downstairs half the pack is already there.

Asher is managing the barbecue while Jace is finishing the side dishes, they both got help from other pack mates so they don't need me.

The guest of honor Lilly just arrived and I run toward her, giving her my gift it's a glittery pink watch with her name on it.

Well if her scream and the bone-crushing hug are any indications I think she likes it.

"Ohh you didn't have to," Lilly says with a big smile

"I hope you like it," I say

"Like it? I love it!! It has my favorite everything on it pink and glitter" Lilly says

We stand together for a bit talking about her new job at the hospital and how excited she is.

"I heard you going to college, you're going to love it," she tells me.

"I don't know Lily, you know things don't always go as planned" I mumble

I should've known, nothing been going as planned in my life till I met my daddies.

"If you never try you'll never know, and isn't the new pup going with you." she asks and I nod "well you already have a friend there all it's left is having fun"

"Yeah maybe we'll see," I say

Our conversation ends when Christian circle a hand around my waist and drag me off. Luna's duty, I have to welcome most of my pack members and see how they're doing. I'm not crazy about meeting strangers, but I know most people around here and I really care about them.

I see my friend jenny coming in and I want to go and say hello to her but Christian isn’t letting me go.

"Daddy I want to go say hi to my friend," I say and pout his hand is made of steel.

"Not going anywhere little girl till you eat something" he replies

Again with the food, my mates are convinced that I'm not eating enough but I don't feel hungry much and don't like being forced.

"H..hhiii" I stutter

Again he's looking at me, taking me all in his eyes full of interest, honestly, he scares me, no one was ever interested in me, they are most interested in hurting me or making fun.

"You having a fun pretty girl?" Holden says again with a smile

Again with the compliments, is he making fun of me, I'm wearing a blue long-sleeved T-shirt and some stressed jeans with my converse my hair is down as always but it's too hot for a hoodie.

"Yeah...I just got here" I can feel my cheek blushing and I try to hide behind my hair.

"Well I was wondering Jenny would you like to go on a run with me after this party is over” he ask

I knew he was too good to be true, yeah of course he'll ask me on a run. Ask the girl who can't shift to go on a wolf run along.

I can feel tears burning my eyes, I thought this pack will be different, but acting nice only to make fun of me is ruthless. At least at my old pack, they'll all treat me with cruelty, not like this.

I don't answer him I just take off running, I hate this pack, I hate my life, they all made me feel so welcome only to hurt me later.

I just keep running, I can hear someone yelling my name but I ignore it, I keep running till someone jump on my back and drag me to the ground. I look up to are Nala, and I burst into tears, she was my first girlfriend, she probably came to laugh and tease me.

"What's wrong? Who hurt you? Who do I have to kill" Nala fire her question not giving me a second to reply.

I wasn't expecting that at all, I just keep crying.

"Shh shhh come on let's go somewhere private to talk," Nala says and drags me with her.
