Ours novel Chapter 46

Stefan POV

We're all having breakfast, well in reality we are trying to convince Nala to eat her breakfast.

"Open for the plane," Aidan says while making plane noises

"Nala that's enough brattiness eat your food" Christian scold her

"Pumpkin I can make you something else if you want" Jace offers

All the following trial came to vail since Nala refused to eat, she's been doing that a lot lately. We can see that she lost some weight and as her doctor/mate/daddy I don't approve at all.

"Nala you want to go to work with me today?" I ask her and she nods, not risking opening her mouth.

"Okay baby eats a couple of bites then we can go," I tell her and she shrugs, she doesn't plan on eating, and I don't plan on taking her to work with me for fun, I need to run some blood test and do a full checkup on her, if she's not eating cause something is wrong I need to know.

Plus I can't take Jace's pained look, his baby won't eat his food no matter what he cooks her.

After breakfast, well for me Nala only had some juice we make it to the free clinic, apart from being a surgeon I work in a free clinic and little one helps with the files. We're here early and I already texted my nurse and Nala friend Lilly to help.

"Baby since we're here early I want to do a full checkup on you," I tell her, and she runs.

"Little girl the door is already locked now come here" I inform her knowing she would try to run.

It took all my physical strength and some help from Lilly to get Nala to my office, I tried bribing her, promising her anything she wants, I tried threatening and even gave her butt a few slaps. She only burst into tears.

"I don't....want to...checkup...needles hurt," she said between sobs

I pulled her over to my lap with her head laying on my chest and held her till she stopped crying.

"No needles" she tries and compromises with me.

I shake my head no "baby I need to take a bit of blood to test it, I'll be a very quick sting and it'll be gone promise"

After a few more rounds of crying and hitting, trying to escape which was close to impossible since I had her in my lap.

"I let you do this and you let me play doctor with you later" she ask her cries becoming sniffles.

I laugh and agree, playing doctor was how we were intimate the first time ever and she liked it.

Stefan POV flashback

Today is my day alone with Nala, I know the other guys had already claimed her and they can get a bit rough and be carried away.

We decided that I'll give our little princess a checkup just to make sure she's okay.

We get into our home clinic, we built that after we got Nala back, we didn't want to be in the hospital with seven overprotective wolves biting the heads of anyone who dares get close to her.

I know she's scarred, god knows how long it's been since her last doctor visit.

She confirms that Mathew gave her a contraception injection so she won't get pregnant, wolves can't carry STDs so the guys are safe.

I make her change into a hospital gown that ties at the back, I take her weight, heartbeat, blood pressure, reflexes, a blood sample. The usual and she's been cooperating so far with only screaming bloody murder when I had to take blood.

"Baby I need to check on your kitty," I say calmly.
