Ours novel Chapter 53

Jennt POV

Today we go back to college, me and nala this time we got each other back. Nala been afraid to let her mates down, but they talked through it and she's gonna give it a second chance.

My bruises have finally faded although some scars are forever, the one on my skin and on my soul.

Nala picked me up in her car , she let me chose the music again and we chatted happily on our way.

Today was gonna be a good day, we reach our campus, after nala parked the car, we went in like it's our first day all over again. Except this time we were both happy and excited.

The day went quickly, nala was a bit nervous but i was their for her and she was there for me. At lunch break, zach came by and invited both of us and his mate mathew to eat together.

We all went to a dinner , we ate and laughed, making cheesy college jokes.

I excused my self to go to the bathroom , after i used the facility i was washing my hand when the door opened. I see Ethan standing behind me in the mirror.

"What are you doing here?" i ask

"Shut up you bitch" he says and slap me on the face "you little latent shit!! You found yourself a wolf to hide behind and now you are too important to talk to me??huh i didn't know that slut of yours play on both team, playing with seven guys isn't enough for her she had to add you" he finish with an evil laugh.

Tears are streaming down my face, i don't know what to do, call nala, try to defend her , I'm frozen by fear.

"If you dare to tell anyone about this little rendez vous I'm gonna make your life a living hell, now out you go" he says and push me out the door. I hardly had time to collect my self before nala was in front of me.

"You okay jen?" she ask with concern i nod my head yes and guide her back toward our table.1

"Jenny was a little girl full of life, when she didn't shift the bullying started some she would tell me about others she won't. I saw the flame die inside my little girl. I've been trying to move my family for a long time. Until alpha Christian accepted us, I'm afraid if he didn't my baby would've been dead by now" ~George.

It took me some times to understand why i feel so protective of her, why my wolf goes crazy when thinking about someone hurting her. She's my Mate. When it finally clicked i started sleeping under her window every night, i could hear her screams and cried and my wolf would whine in respond wanting to go in and comfort her. Until luna decided to howl her pain one night, i howled back, my own pain, my compassion for my luna, for my mate.

The window opened and she saw me there, we spent that first night staring at each others , till she fell asleep. Ever since then I've been spending every night under her window in wolf form , she'll stare at me and i at her till we both fall asleep.

Tonight she got tears in her eyes and it kills me. I don't care how, i don't care when but little red you're gonna be mine i promise her with my eyes.

It seem like i need to do a visit to the alpha house, hoping they would help.

After my baby fell asleep , i closed my eyes dreaming about having her close to me.
