Penny and Zoren had once promised Old Mrs. Pierson to stay at the Old Residence, and today, they planned to fulfill that promise.

Meaning, they could be loud and wild, and no one will hear it. However, that didn’t mean no one would know about it because everyone was expecting this room would be very busy tonight.

Zoren’s lips curled into a satisfied smile. "I like it."

Penny froze at Zoren’s comment, and when she looked at him, he was smiling too!

"!!!" Penny choked up. She could almost hear Zoren laughing evilly. "Ha... ha..."

Biting her lip, she turned to Old Mrs. Pierson and leaned in to whisper, "Grandma, I don’t think... Renren and I should share a bedroom tonight."

"Huh?" Old Mrs. Pierson frowned. "Why not? You’re a married couple! Ah..."

Old Mrs. Pierson chuckled, seeming to understand Penny’s hesitation. She held Penny’s hand and patted it reassuringly.

"My dear Penny, don’t worry about it. I won’t mind at all if baby number one is made here," she teased, making Butler Hubert giggle from the sidelines. "I know you two have been working hard, but perhaps a change of scenery will help."

’That’s not it!’ Penny cried internally. ’I’m trying to nurse him back to health, not exhaust him!’

’But I want to rest too,’ was what Zoren wanted to say, but he nodded instead. "Alright."
