When Wilson calmy uttered those two words, it sounded like he was talking about the weather. It was so normal.

After Serene was stunned for a good two to three seconds, she pinched her thighs with her fingers to make sure this was real!

Good lord, that hurt!

“Mas, Master, you were… joking earlier right?”

Marry? Hades Jarret wanted to marry her?

Serene never expected that she would sleep with Wilson. Not only did Wilson not snap her neck after she woke up, he even asked her to marry him!

Something must have gone wrong somewhere!

Wilson stared at her coldly with his dark eyes as he spoke with a prideful tone, “What’s the matter, are you that unwilling to do so?”

Serene was screaming in her heart, ‘Obviously!’

However, she dared not blatantly say it and was only able to beat around the bush. She said, “Master, you’re someone of such high qualities so how could you waste it all on a nobody like me? You are attractive, your legs are so long and your work ethic is impeccable so of course you should marry a daughter of a wealthy family! My family is very poor though…”

“Just look at how impressive your medical skills are! Master, I heard… hehehe the daughter of our hospital’s chancellor happened to have a crush on you. Only she is worthy of you!”

After she was done speaking, Serene wanted to slip away but Wilson grabbed onto the back of her neck then pulled her back like he was holding onto a small chicken.

How could this brat be so light?

Wilson frowned deeper.

“Last night was my first time. You should be responsible for me.”

A crow had seemingly flown above her head as she was speechless.

What nonsense… Wilson was already in his thirties?!

Serene helplessly blinked as she said, “Master, last night was also my first time. Why don’t we call it even?”

“Hence we should end on a good note, more so now.”

Serene was speechless.

This was the first time Serene to realized just how full of nonsense Wilson was!

Serene always assumed that since she grew up in a poor family, her survival skills were second to none. Everywhere she went, she would adapt like weeds, the type of weeds that would thrive if a little manure was given. As an example, during her time in university, their core unit professor was extremely strict and no matter how Serene wrote her thesis, she would not pass. Finally, Serene came up with a plan, she pretended to be pitiful when she went looking for her professor. She knelt and cried if she was not given a passing grade. The professor had no choice but to let her pass. The professor was afraid that this brat would commit suicide by jumping off a buidling which would stir an uproar in the news. It would be awful for everyone.

Hence, no matter what hardships she came across, Serene would have her own methods to deal with it even though they were dumb, unreasonable or humiliating but it was effective nonetheless.

However, now, when she was faced with Wilson, Serene realized that her methods were completely ineffective.

Her tantrums could not work because she dared not throw a fit in front of Hades Jarret. Not to mention, a person like Wilson was not susceptible to harsh methods.

Wilson calmly glared at her before turning around to freshen up in the washroom.

“I am an extreme germaphobe so you are not allowed to sleep with another man in future. Of course, I also wouldn’t sleep with another woman.”

Serene was rooted to the spot as the corners of her mouth twitched violently.

What did that mean? Was she not allowed to date other men in the future?

However, she did not like him though and did not wish to be with him.

Did it mean that their current relationship would be… ? Were they now dating?

Serene followed him into the washroom and asked, “Master, what kind of a relationship do we share now?”

Wilson shot a glance back at her for a couple seconds before saying, “Boyfriend and girlfriend. However, if you are willing, I think we can get married soon.”

“No, no, no! It’s too soon to get married! Hehe!”

Serene was so startled, that her tiny face turned pale instantly as she immediately waved her hands around.

Wilson walked behind her while cracking a grin with his thin lips. Since Serene was still standing on the same spot, the man glanced to the side and said, “Not moving? Do you wish to join me in the shower?”

“No, no, no… forget it.”

Serene turned around and bolted toward the living room and immediately sat on the couch to unpack all of her complicated emotions.

It was too terrifying. A single night could officiate a relationship?

Serene grabbed her phone and sent Verian a text, “Wilson wants me to be his girlfriend! Say, do you think there’s something wrong with his head? This dude might’ve already been driven completely insane!”

After Verian received that text on her end, she almost burst out laughing. She then took a screenshot and sent it to Heaton.

She then replied to Serene saying, “Serene, do you have actual feelings for Wilson?”

Serene was completely agitated as she said, “What kind of feelings could I possibly have for him! God dammit!”

She buried herself depressingly in the pillow and felt like crying.

She was nothing more than a medical student on an internship placement. Not only did she lose her boyfriend of three years, but she also lost her precious virginity! Moreover, she was not being clung onto by Hades Jarret!

How could she be this unfortunate!

Verian comforted her. She said, “Things have already progressed this far now and if you truly don’t like Wilson, you can be clear to him. However, I feel that Wilson is a very decent guy, so you should give him a chance. Think about it, in terms of his qualities, which part of Wilson is lesser than that f*ckboy Chainer?”

Serene was naively thinking about it as she felt Verian had a point. She replied, “But, Wilson is too weird. Did you know, he told me earlier that last night was his first time! He’s already an old man in his thirties! Say, why does he need to lie to me? Was he trying to scam with me after we became a couple?”

However, Serene gave it a much deeper thought. She had no money and although she was somewhat attractive, she was not one with a kind of beauty. As for her body shape, she was not the best so why exactly would Wilson be scamming her?
