If Kimberly hadn't known about the earrings in Maddox's jacket, she would have been curious to know who had bought the earrings. However, she knew it right now.

"What took you so long?"

Maddox frowned impatiently, "Half an hour has passed."

Kimberly glanced at the time and muttered, "It just passed."

Kimberly raised her head when she heard Sam calling her, and their eyes met through the rearview mirror.

"What's wrong?"
