Minerva didn't know what Maddox was talking about. Why was he furious? She couldn't stand this.

The door was cold against her back. The chill passed through her clothes, which made her shiver unconsciously.

It was also possible that she was shivering because of Maddox.

She stared at him for a long time and tried to explain herself.

"What's wrong with you? I just went out for a while. Do you have to..."
