Nadine was infuriated, to say the least. For a brief moment, she itched to slap Brad hard to knock the nonsense out of him. But still, she loved him.

Suppressing the urge to slap him, she forced herself to regain her composure. After all, she had decided to come back to resolve problems, not to intensify conflicts.

"You weren't like this back then! You were gentle and kind, and you were never this aggressive. You certainly weren't so heartless as to pick on a patient."

Brad had been bottling up his desires. He thought he could finally relieve himself today, but instead, he ended up even more frustrated and angry.
