Nadine's aggrieved display today stirred an unfamiliar emotion in Brad. It tugged at his already agitated nerves, causing him to be even more restless.

As he noticed red marks marring her skin from her frantic struggles, his eyes turned bloodshot. Blood even trickled out from her delicate skin. Still, he softened up slightly.

He warned, "Nadine, you'd better behave yourself. Otherwise, you'll only end up suffering more!"

Her skin was so delicate that even the slightest touch would leave a mark. No matter how gentle he was during sex, he would still leave marks on her. Eventually, he grew to be more careful with her.

If she hadn't been so harsh earlier, he wouldn't have been so enraged to the point that he yearned to tear her apart.

She cursed him relentlessly as if determined to fight him to the end. Sensing the aggrievement, defiance, and fury in her teary eyes, Brad cupped her chin and nipped her lips.

"Your act has been impeccable over the years. How I've underestimated you! Once again, Jeanie is only back for treatment. Don't disturb her. Got it?"

Brad spotted the hatred and murderous intent in her eyes, so he added gently, "Jeanie's a very innocent person. She's not as complicated as you think.

A twinge of pity for her prickled within Brad when he saw the marks on her limbs. He had intended to pacify her, not wanting her to hurt herself amidst her desperate struggles.

But not only did she not appreciate his concern, she even insulted him. She was ungrateful indeed!

Brad saw no need to tolerate her. He unfastened his belt and pinned her beneath him. Ignoring her struggles and insults, he prepared to force himself on her.

However, the burning hatred in her eyes made him falter. He couldn't bear to meet her eyes, so he covered her eyes instead. But the moment his fingers came into contact with her eyes, he felt her eyes were wet.
