Yesterday, Brad finally returned to Phoenix Villa after midnight. When he saw his bed was empty, he hurried to the children's room and found that Sean was nowhere to be seen as well. Only then did he realize Nadine had run away from home again.

That damned woman! Couldn't she just settle down for once? He'd already left Jean, who was ill, and came back to accompany her. What else did she want?

Looking at the empty house, Brad collapsed back on his bed. He was too tired to continue dealing with Nadine. He fell into a deep slumber once his head hit the pillow.

He woke up the next morning. Knowing that Nadine would likely visit Adam first since she worked at the hospital, he quickly freshened up and rushed to the hospital.

Initially, Brad thought she'd greet him with a smile and breakfast. Yet, she shunned him and left right away.

Irritated, he darted after Nadine, but he didn't spot her in her office. After asking around at the nurse's station, he learned that she'd gone to the changing room.

He didn't go in because it was a women's changing room. He waited outside for quite some time, but she still didn't show up. Glancing around, he finally entered after seeing that no one else was around.

As soon as Brad entered, he heard someone screaming for help.

He wasn't one to meddle in other people's business, so he ignored the person's call for help. But soon, he realized that the person's voice sounded familiar—it sounded like Nadine!

He went over to check, only to find out that Tyler was trying to kiss Nadine. Enraged, he hurled a punch at him ruthlessly.

Seeing that Brad was about to punch him again, Nadine rushed to his side and grabbed his arm.

"Stop!" she yelled, fearing for the worst. "Stop it, Brad. He'll die if you hit him again. Let's just go."

Brad's murderous intent had already gotten the better of him. He swerved toward her and glared at her, rage flaring in his eyes.

"What did you say? He clearly tried to kiss you, yet you're still defending him? Or do you like men forcing themselves on you?"

Just the thought of Tyler kissing Nadine's cheek earlier made Brad seethe with fury. How he wished he could kill Tyler. The fact that Nadine was pleading for such a scumbag was truly beyond him.
