To pick Sean up as soon as possible, Nadine wanted to avoid arguing with the girl. But now, it seemed inevitable.

"Who are you calling an old hag? I'm not that much older than you! Why are you pretending to be young when you don't even look like it? At least wear a diaper!

"Listen, missy. I might be an old hag, but I'll be watching others call you a granny in my mini skirt 20 years later!"

It surely was easy to get on other people's nerves.

As she expected, the girl's expression changed. Reaching out to claw at Nadine's face, she hollered, "Damn you, old hag! You have such a filthy mouth. I could tell that no man wants you at all!"

Abandoning her gentle demeanor, Nadine rolled her sleeves up. She dodged the girl's attack and grabbed her colorful nails. With a slight twist, a snap echoed in the air and the girl immediately lost her previous arrogance.

"I just got this manicure! It cost me an arm and a leg! You old hag, can you even afford to pay for it?"

Nadine noticed that her manicure was new, but she was relentless. She tore off one of the girl's nails and hissed, "Such cheap stuff doesn't suit you. Get yourself something better.

"If this costs more than 100 dollars, then you were scammed. If you think something less than 100 dollars is expensive, you're just poor!"

Nadine couldn't comprehend why the girl behaved this way despite her young age. She felt the need to knock some sense into the girl for her to learn a lesson.

Enraged, the girl pawed at Nadine's face and shrieked, "Fucking old hag, I'm going to ruin your face!"

Cameron immediately intervened with two bodyguards and stopped the girl.

"Miss, are you aware that this is someone you can't afford to mess with? While there's still a chance to make amends, apologize to Mrs. Hamilton now. Otherwise, you won't be able to handle the consequences."

He noted the murderous look in Brad's eyes. No one could bear to defy him. At this point, no one believed that he didn't care about Nadine.

Just then, an old lady in the ward hobbled over with a cane. "Is that Ms. Scott? This is my granddaughter. I've heard what happened earlier, and it's clearly her fault. I'll have her apologize to you.

"Victoria, apologize to Ms. Scott!"

Victoria Clarke was unfazed. She flipped her middle finger at Nadine and snarled, "There's no way I'm apologizing to you, old hag!" Then, she turned to the old lady. "And are you my grandma or not? Why are you siding with an outsider?"
