Brad didn't finish his sentence as he saw the murderous intent in Nadine's eyes.

At that moment, Nadine's gaze was burning with fury. An intense anger flashed in her eyes.

Seething with anger, she glared at him. "Shut your mouth, and stop spouting nonsense! You want me to feed you, huh? Let's just say I'm feeding a pig! And don't you dare bring Sean into this!'

As a mother, she could tolerate others attacking her but not Sean.

Even if it was just talk, she couldn't accept it!

Before Brad could react, Nadine grabbed a portion of food from his plate and forcefully shoved it into his mouth.

The roughness of her actions made Brad's face flush, and his eyes welled up with tears.

Seeing the usually aloof Brad in such a state of discomfort was deeply satisfying for Nadine.

She watched as he struggled to swallow the large mouthful, then force-fed him another bite of food.

She thought she was such a fool for falling for his trick.

Brad didn't actually need her help.

The house was full of maids, and he deliberately chose to have her feed him. It was clearly intentional.

But since she had already started feeding him, she figured she might as well continue.

At least she could leave afterward and avoid him entirely.

After all, Brad had stepped in front of her and Sean when they needed protection.

She owed him that much. She decided to consider this a way of repaying a debt of gratitude.

She hoped that would be the end of it.

She didn't want to spend another second with him.

As she stood up to clear the table, Brad trapped her with his legs. "You don't have to do these things."

Gigi and Evelyn had purposely sent all the servants away to make things difficult for Nadine. She had to handle all the household chores alone.

She had long grown accustomed to it and didn't think much of doing the cleanup herself.
