Nadine looked around and noticed that there were indeed no maids present. She finally relaxed a bit.

Since she couldn't physically overpower Brad and didn't have the strength to resist, she decided to give up and let him do as he pleased.

"Mr. Hamilton, this may be your home, but it's not mine. I suggest you don't get intimate with your ex-wife. If Ms. Sawyer finds out you're hugging another woman like this, she might get jealous."

Since she couldn't compete with Brad physically, she had to use her wits. Given how much Brad cared about Jean, he'd likely let go the moment she mentioned her name.

However, she was wrong.

Instead of letting go, Brad seemed intrigued by her comment. "Oh? You're quite concerned about Jeanie, aren't you?"

Nadine didn't want to answer that question. She simply rolled her eyes at the ceiling.

She thought Brad sounded so affectionate when he spoke her name!

Of course, Brad was well aware that Nadine hated Jean.

She wondered if he was pretending to be oblivious just to irk her.

Anyway, in Brad's opinion, she was clearly not in a place to mention Jean. So, she chose not to respond.

Brad interpreted her silence as acquiescence.

His skin was tanned, smooth, and poreless.

He had a high nose and full lips. He flashed Nadine a grin, revealing his perfectly white teeth.

"Alright! Brad, since you put it that way, let me ask you this. If I were to be with Tyler in the same way you are with Jean, would you really be so generous and not care at all? Don't lecture me about being compassionate! That only applies to people with high morals, not those who are unreasonable and refuse to acknowledge their faults! Stop moralizing and trying to manipulate me! I won't fall for it!"

Brad's double standards were bad enough, but now he was trying to guilt-trip her. She definitely wouldn't fall for his tricks!

She wished Brad would just go to hell!

Brad was taken aback by her words but quickly masked his surprise.

His brow furrowed deeply.

"The example you gave doesn't fit! It's not appropriate. First of all, Tyler isn't sick, nor is he suffering from a serious illness. You don't understand my situation! My situation with Jean is different. Six years ago, I promised to marry her. But I let her down, so I need to take extra care of her!"
