Jean closed her eyes as she enjoyed the comfort of the massage.

After hearing Lynn's analysis, Jean opened her eyes with newfound clarity and looked at Lynn with genuine appreciation.

"You're right. Your analysis is spot-on. My mother clearly made a good choice in picking you. Since you understand that I'm at a disadvantage, how can I get Brad?"

When Jean returned to the country, Anne had already arranged for Lynn to be her caregiver. Initially, Jean thought Lynn was too ordinary and overpriced. However, she now found Lynn's presence much more favorable.

Lynn smiled and moved to the other side to massage Jean's other leg. Her touch was both gentle and professional. "Ms. Sawyer, didn't you get what you wanted last night?"

Jean shrugged and shook her head with a touch of regret. "It's a shame. Brad hasn't even looked at me. He helped me get dressed and avoided me completely.

"They say that if a man truly loves you, his actions and body language will make it clear. You'll know it for sure."

After a brief pause, she continued, "I'm only now starting to understand what that really means. If Brad genuinely liked me, I wouldn't need to make the first move. Just being near him should be enough. But even after I threw myself at him last night, he didn't so much as glance my way."

She paused, swallowing her frustration and stubbornly holding back tears.

After composing herself, she continued, "It's okay. I have the video. I'll have it edited and sent to Nadine. Let's see how long she can keep up the act this time."

Lynn gave her a thumbs-up. "That's the spirit! Only you and Mr. Hamilton know if he actually touched you. Others can't tell. Editing the video and sending it to Nadine will definitely confuse her."

She added, "Ms. Sawyer, just wait and see the drama Nadine will stir up!"

The hospital had a staff cafeteria where everyone typically went for lunch. When someone was on duty, they stayed behind to watch over the patients and went to the cafeteria later.

Since Nadine wasn't on duty, she grabbed her lunchbox and followed her colleagues to the cafeteria.

However, as soon as she entered the elevator, she saw Brad standing among the crowd. Given his status, it was unusual for him to be in such a packed space.
