Nadine, Sebastian, and Sean all had their eyes glued to Brad's lips, waiting for him to follow through on what he had said. Nadine, in particular, watched him intently, her round almond eyes wide and focused, not wanting to miss a single moment.

Sean was equally excited, rubbing his chubby little hands together as he stared at Brad's lips. "Daddy, are you really going to put on lipstick?" he asked in disbelief.

None of the men in the Hamilton family wore makeup—heck, they barely even used skincare products, let alone lipstick. Sean stared at his dad's lips, curiosity shining in his eyes. Nadine, too, set her fishing rod down, unable to look away, ready to be thoroughly entertained.

Sebastian was enjoying himself the most, laughing as he sauntered over with the lipstick. "Alright, Mr. Hamilton, it's all up to you now! Don't let Nad down!"

Without a moment's hesitation, Brad took the brand-new lipstick, tore off the packaging, and twisted it open. He looked at Nadine, who had now risen to her feet, watching him intently, and smiled warmly. "If I put this on, will you agree to have dinner with me tonight?"

Noticing her hesitation and fearing she might turn him down, he hastily added, "I took you out last time, so it's your turn to take me out."

Nadine preferred not to owe anyone anything. Hence, when he suddenly asked her to return the favor, she found herself at a loss for words.

Besides, she wanted to see him with lipstick on, so she agreed. "As long as you wear it, I'll take you out to lunch."

Nadine deliberately emphasized that they would grab lunch—not dinner—because she had plans to visit Adam at the hospital that afternoon. And with lunch, she could avoid an evening when Brad would insist on driving her home.

Brad agreed without a second thought. "Deal!" He then turned toward the rearview mirror of Sebastian's car and proceeded to apply the lipstick.
