Taking his phone out, Zivon then sent Xavia a text, stating, ‘What are you up to?’

Following that, he walked over to Yulia’s side while waiting for her response… Alas, even after half an hour, there was no reply. Raising a slight brow, he then gave her a call… but she never picked up.

Feeling worried now, he left the ward before giving Nathan a call… and the second it connected, Zivon was prompted to command, “Find out where Xavia is. ASAP.”

“…Very well, Young Master Burton,” replied Nathan despite still being a little sleepy. After all, it was the dead of night!

Regardless, it was only a short while later when Nathan reported, “…Miss Lockhart is apparently at Villa No. 8 in Palazzate, Young Master Burton… But the villa’s owner is…”

Hearing how hesitant Nathan was being, Zivon was prompted to sternly ask, “Who is it?”

“…I-It’s… Stefan…” muttered Nathan… and almost immediately after he said that, the butler could feel the air around him freezing.

Gulping, Nathan quickly added, “P-perhaps she’s helping him with something… Or maybe she simply has something urgent to discuss with him…”

A discussion? In another man’s home at this hour?! Now looking extremely bitter, Zivon was prompted to growl, “…Get the helicopter ready for my return flight.”

With how icy his words were, Nathan found himself momentarily at a loss for words…

Meanwhile, back in the Palazzate villa, Mr. and Mrs. Talton could be heard saying, “Stefan’s condition is now stable again, Miss Lockhart, and we really appreciate your help… That said, you should get some rest after all your efforts. Don’t worry, we’ll prepare a guest room for you.”

When she heard that, Xavia couldn’t help but frown as she replied. “…Her… father?”

The nurses had made a mistake, right…?

Nodding in response, another nurse then said, “Indeed! We met him while we were discussing the child’s father last night! Embarrassingly enough, he overheard us thinking that Mr. Talton was the child’s actual father… That aside, though he was wearing a mask, both of us could already tell that he was incredibly attractive! To be completely honest, we were both tempted to ask him to remove it just to see what he looked like…!”
