It was shortly after when a reporter was centered on screen. Once things were good to go, she began saying, “This is Fernando Blinsky’s research laboratory that he’s secretly been using to study cell regeneration. According to his family members, they had no way of knowing about any of this, and some of them have even claimed to have donated their blood to him on the pretext of a blood donation drive!”

“I think so too, but… To think that she’d actually be able to force Dr. Blinsky to agree to all this… What’s more, she had even involved head investigators and reporters to look into the case so quickly…! She really put in a lot of effort to cover her tracks…!” growled Xavia as she gritted her teeth.

“…Now that the doctor is dead, it’s become much, much harder for us to get a hold of her…!” concluded Xavia, causing Dolly’s rage to turn into anxiety.

Following that, Xavia was just about to leave when Francis roared, “Stop right there…! Jenna’s finally managed to get out of trouble! What kind of trouble are you trying to brew up here?! If you do anything to harm her or our family, I swear I won’t let you off…!”

Oh, please. It was either tossing her to the countryside, or getting her to bear any of Jenna’s scandalous misdoings. When had he ever let her off? With that in mind, she simply sneered before walking off, causing Francis’s face to go red in rage as he howled, “You…! You unfilial daughter…!”

“Please calm down, Dad… I’ll go talk to her…” comforted Jenna as she quickly ran after Xavia…

Despite how nice she seemed just seconds ago, the second she was outside, she immediately yelled, “Stop right there, Xavia Lockhart…!”

Stopping in her tracks, Xavia then turned to face Jenna as she replied, “Oh…? Are modern-day murderers that shameless to be able to shout so righteously…?”

Startled to hear that, Jenna retorted, “And who are you calling a murderer?”
