Confused, Xavia was prompted to ask, “Why A? As far as I know, gentle and family-oriented women tend to nag out of concern, something which I’m sure Young Master Burton doesn’t like. Remember, the woman is someone he’s supposed to be marrying.”

Nodding in response, Sophia then said, “I see you’ve properly considered the options. However, ‘D’ was the workaholic type. Being a workaholic himself, Young Master Burton would potentially have to not only see her at home, but also at work. That could be rather annoying, and Jenna is actually a perfect example for such a scenario.”

“If the woman was more family-oriented, however, he wouldn’t have to see her while he was at work. What’s more, he’s also no stranger to going on business trips, so that’s even less time spent with her. Also, should there be times when he doesn’t want to face her, he could easily just work overtime to use that as an excuse not to head home.”

…Her reasoning was solid! The fact that it made so much sense made Xavia feel utterly defeated. After all, she had been so frustrated with the question, yet Sophia had managed to analyze it so easily… It was clear that Sophia knew Zivon extremely well, and if she were to be his soulmate…

Sensing Xavia’s disappointment Zivon couldn’t help but smile as he turned to look at Sophia while asking, “I thought you weren’t allowed to participate.”

Shrugging, Sophia replied, “True enough, everyone assumed I’d cheat, so I gave up on my eligibility. However, I was curious about how well I’d do, so I registered under my mother’s name to take the test. Don’t worry, only the three of us know about this.”

After giving a nod, Zivon then patted Xavia’s hands while saying, “As for you. You don’t need to answer the questions. I honestly couldn’t care less about the test.”

“Sure,” chuckled Zivon as their glasses met with a ‘clink’.

By this point, Xavia’s porridge had lost its taste. The two had a better relationship than she had anticipated… That aside, did Zivon truly not get what she was trying to say when she asked for something else next year…? Sophia was clearly implying that she hoped that their relationship would get better by then! How could he have agreed so casually?!

Come to think of it, that wasn’t even the biggest issue. No, the bigger issue was that he had brought her here to watch the two toast to each other…

It was around eight when the meal finally ended, and Xavia had no idea how she had managed to hold on for this long. Regardless, since Nathan knew that Zivon would be drinking, he made sure to show up… and shortly after, Xavia and Zivon found themselves seated in the back of the car…
