However, before she could even get her phone, she suddenly heard a familiar voice say, “Oh my! What a coincidence, Xavia!”

Turning to face the voice, Xavia saw that it was a beautifully dressed Jenna together with Keith who had a fancy suit on. Naturally, the sight of the two instantly caused Xavia’s expression to sour.

Her hatred toward Jenna needed no explanation, but Keith. Oh, Keith…! In all honesty, she had been impressed by him before, but after he played along with getting Jenna out of that mess, Xavia realized that businessmen would always be businessmen. Who knew what else he was capable of? Still, since she still needed to collect evidence and bide her time, Xavia knew better than to lash out.

Forcing a smile, Xavia then asked, “…Indeed. What are you two doing here?”

“Oh, I’m here for my maternity check-up. I’m pregnant, remember?” replied Jenna with a smile.

…Wait. That wasn’t an act?

Sensing the disbelief in Xavia’s eyes, Jenna then said in a sincere tone, “…What? Did you think that was all an act? I truly am pregnant! That aside, since I now wish to be a good mother and live a nice life with Keith, let’s just put the past behind us, alright…?”

In all honesty, Xavia couldn’t help but feel moved. After all, to think that Jenna would actually be pregnant! Then again, Jenna and Keith did meet each other quite a few times in the past, so it shouldn’t be that much of a surprise to her… Even so, Xavia wondered what Keith would do with Linda’s child… Also, was Xavia really going to lay her hands on a pregnant woman…?

With that in mind, Xavia gave a subtle glare at Jenna before putting a cheery façade on as she said, “…Congratulations. As long as you don’t continue messing with me, I’ll put the past aside.”

This, of course, instantly made Jenna relieved. After all, now that Xavia had Zivon, she was quite worried that Xavia would use him to help exact her revenge. Thankfully, her stupid sister was still weak to pregnant women…
