Xavia herself was in bed, trying to grab a glass of water on the table that was a bit too out of reach for her. Looking at the drip attached to her left hand, Zivon sighed before getting the glass for her.

Turning to look at the Adonis, Xavia found herself momentarily speechless as her heart stung…

Despite how pitiful she looked, Zivon was prompted to say in a slightly sarcastic tone, “What? Even though you delivered a meal for him, Keith didn’t bother coming over?”

Naturally, his statement made her clench her fists in rage…! That food had been for him! That aside, hadn’t he been out with Sophia as well?! She shouldn’t have bothered being nice to him!

With that in mind, Xavia retorted, “Whether he’s here or not, you don’t need to be here to look after me.”

Fighting the urge to resort to force, Zivon then growled, “Had it not been for Yulia’s call, I wouldn’t be here.”

…Yulia… had called him? That aside, the way he had said it…

Now smiling wryly, Xavia replied, “…I know how busy you are with work and your family obligations, so please, do head on back. Don’t worry, I’ll clear things up with Yulia later.”

Upon hearing that, a frigid aura began emitting from Zivon’s body as he growled, “Back when I was in Milan, I had put my work on hold to accompany you and Dolly. Following that, you went to S City, and I flew over on multiple occasions just to meet up with you. With that said, are you really qualified to say that after proposing to break up with me?”

With how adorable the child was, Zivon did his best to suppress his anger. After all, he didn’t want to end up scaring the girl. As he wondered how to reply to the child, Xavia beat him to it by saying, “I’m not hungry, Yulia. Besides, Mommy still has her hands, so I don’t need to be fed by others.”

After giving Xavia a death glare, Zivon squatted by Yulia’s side before saying, “She just needs some rest. With that said, let’s not bother her for now. Why don’t we go downstairs to get some snacks for you?”

Following that, Xavia watched as Zivon and the child walked out of the ward together…
