Feeling increasingly annoyed, Zivon then walked up to the trio before saying in a condescending tone, “So you only brought Xavia here to introduce her to Wade, huh, Fourth Uncle…?!”

Upon hearing that, Xavia turned to face the impeccably dressed Zivon… and though he looked much fancier than he normally was, she could sense impending doom from his glare alone!

Before she could explain herself, however, Harold stepped up and replied, “What? Are you getting jealous of Wade? Just so you know, I brought her here so that she could experience more things, and since Wade is a big shot in the industry, it’s only fair that she gets to know him.”

“She doesn’t need to,” growled Zivon in an icy tone, instantly causing Harold to feel irked.

Before the old man could retort, however, Sophia suddenly walked over while saying, “Young Master Burton.”

Beside her, were two industry insiders, and she was quick to add, “These are Director Layton and Director Wallis from Crafters Incorporated. They heard that you were here, and that you were close to Senior Burton, which is why they wish to get acquainted with you.”

Since Zivon wasn’t in a good mood, he simply grunted in response.

Director Layton, however, couldn’t help but raise a brow as he said, “…Pardon me, but why are you still with Miss Lockhart, Chairman Burton…?”

He had assumed that Xavia was Jenna, and since the two were divorced, they shouldn’t have any reason to be there together…

It was at that moment when Zivon realized how emotional he had been. Snapping out of it, he was quick to realize that a crowd was now looking at them… and this prompted him to walk over to Xavia’s side before declaring, “This is Xavia Lockhart, the second daughter of the Lockhart family!”

Upon hearing that, she turned to speechlessly look at the icy man standing beside her… Earlier, he had said that she was texting Stefan, and now, he was getting jealous because of Wade?

Feeling slightly irked now, Xavia replied, “You know, love only buds with trust, Young Master Burton. I think I’m already being pretty considerate considering the fact that you’re dating Sophia. With that said, would it kill you to be less paranoid?”

Something was really off with this man! Regardless, upon hearing that, veins could be seen on Zivon’s forehead as he growled, “You’re calling me paranoid over those few questions…?! What exactly does trust mean to you? Should I set you up with other men? Hmm? Is that how you see love…?!”

Zivon couldn’t explain it, but he simply couldn’t keep his cool when he thought about all that she had been doing!

Xavia herself could sense his immense anger, and she couldn’t help but quiver in fear. How had she even offended him…? Unsure what to make of the situation, she simply replied, “O-of course not… What’s wrong with you…?”
