Before Xavia could reply, the adorable duo was already clinging onto her legs, and Xavia couldn’t help but feel her heart melt as she patted the children while saying, “…Such good children…! And good children deserve candy!”

Watching as Xavia took out her bag of sweets, the two found themselves going wide-eyed as they exclaimed, “Wow! The wrappers look so pretty!”

Maison himself was prompted to cough as he added, “…I-I’m not exactly the biggest fan of candy, but I’ll eat it for your sake, Aunt!”

“Alright… That aside… Where’s your Daddy?” asked Xavia as she began looking around.

In between munches, Maison replied, “He hasn’t returned yet…”

…Hmm? Well, that was surprising… Did he have something else to take care of…? Figuring that that was the case, Xavia then led the two kids upstairs while saying, “I see… Well, putting him aside, have you two been behaving at home…? You’ve made sure to study properly, right?”

“I’ve already gone through all my school’s textbooks. They’re far too easy for me, which is why I’ve been focusing more on improving my computer skills,” replied Maison in a casual tone, leaving Xavia rather speechless.

As for Yulia, she quickly replied, “I… don’t really want to study or do homework… I’d rather dance! You know, my teacher complimented my dancing abilities recently!”

…Were these two even siblings? How could one be such a genius while the other be so… challenged at studying?

Noticing how tired Xavia looked all of a sudden, Yulia added, “…Are you mad to hear that, Mommy…? While I want to excel in my studies like Brother Maison, I can’t seem to understand anything at all…”

Turning to look at the still slightly wet Xavia, Zivon could smell her fresh, womanly scent… and this prompted him to remove his apron and gently grab her by her waist as he replied, “Of course… How else would I ensure that we’ll have a proper good time tonight…?”

Aside from his usual musk, he also had tiny hints of floral and ‘steak-ish’ scents attached to him… In other words, it was a triple threat combo of enticing scents…! As her breathing grew more rapid, Xavia wondered why this man wasn’t called ‘Poppy’ instead… After all, he was outright addictive!

Shaking the thought off, Xavia was thankfully able to calm herself a little… and it was then when she recalled how much of a clean freak he was. This prompted her to mutter, “…U-um… Don’t you want to take a shower and get a change of clothes first…? Don’t worry, I can handle the rest…”

“The only things you need to worry about… Is how to get along with your man,” replied Zivon as he released his grip on her before heading to the bathroom, leaving Xavia frozen in place.

Though this wasn’t the first time she had heard him call himself, ‘her man,’ it still made her heart race! That aside, what did he even mean by ‘get along’… It was clear that he was after something else!
