“Could you have gotten another woman, Young Master Burton? Is she your real girlfriend? Is Miss Harrison not enough…?!”

As if those questions weren’t bad enough, the reporters even began pushing their way into the villa! After all, if Zivon had really been keeping a woman in his home this entire time, then it’d surely make for a glorious headline! With that in mind, they were disregarding all obstacles in their way as they continued rushing forward!

Xavia herself was now feeling rather worried. For context, Yulia had earlier run over to the window to see what all the commotion was about… and though that should’ve been fine, the child had stood on a stool and nearly toppled over! This resulted in Xavia dashing over to catch the child in her arms… alas, that was enough to capture the attention of the reporters.

Regardless, the incoming sound of footsteps did little to help curb her anxiety! What could she do?! She couldn’t just be found like this! Shaking her head, she quickly carried Yulia over to the study’s bathroom before whispering, “Alright, let’s play a game of hide and seek, Yulia. Mommy will get Brother Maison to start searching for you, and we’ll just have to see if he succeeds in the end!”

“Oh, boy! I love hide and seek!” squealed Yulia as she quickly did as her mother told, much to Xavia’s relief. She, for one, didn’t want Yulia getting unnecessarily worried… Whatever the case was, now that this was done, she quickly ran over to the master bedroom… and she was just in time to avoid the onslaught of reporters who had just made it up the stairs!

Thankfully, the reporters had been rather preoccupied with how beautiful the villa was, with several of them saying things like, “My lord! The villa looks even more stunning on the inside!”

“I’d be willing to sacrifice ten years of my life if I could be a mistress here…!”

Eventually, one of the reporters snapped out of it and asked, “…Um… Could you please tell us who you are to Young Master Burton…? What are you even doing here? And why haven’t we seen you before…?”

Upon hearing that, the woman replied in a slightly surprised tone, “…H-huh…? I’m Young Master Burton’s assistant, and I’m in charge of handling his daily routines… Are you all reporters…? Am I being asked for an interview…? If so, why didn’t you warn me in advance, Young Master Burton…? I could’ve gotten the little master ready a bit earlier…”

Though there was no guilt in her voice, the reporters couldn’t help but snicker among themselves. No assistant would dress up this sexily… which made it clear that this woman had to resort to that since her face was far from desirable! Still, it was rather disappointing since they knew they had lost their chance for a good scoop.

In the end, they didn’t even notice the unusually deep gaze in Zivon’s eyes… Though her disguise was top-notch, Zivon recognized those eyes anywhere… In the end, he looked away from her before glaring at the reporters as he growled, “Now then… Now that you’re all satisfied, care to leave…?”
