That’s right. She had liked Zivon for so long that it had already become some sort of an obsession for her. The more distant he got, the more restless and emotional she was. How could she let him go just like that?

Seeing Zivon’s gentleness towards Xavia was bittersweet—she desperately wanted it, but if she could not have it, she had to destroy it!

Jenna put her thoughts aside and glared at Keith. “So what if I am? You’ll never be as good as Zivon, you’re nothing like him at all! It’s no wonder Xavia does not like you or respect you.”

She was taunting and provoking him.

Keith’s face fell. In the past, he would have been enraged, but now, he just calmed himself down and adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses as he said, “You cannot be compared to Xavia either. It’s no wonder both Uncle Zivon and I are not interested in you.”

After saying that, he took his wine glass and left.

“You!” Jenna’s features were twisted in anger.

She thought of something, then turned around and walked towards Xavia. “Xavia, it’s been a while.”

She forced a fake smile onto her face and said, “Yes, it’s been a while since I last saw you. Elder sister, you’ve been doing quite well raising your baby at home, you seem to have put on a lot of weight. I’ve been busy working, however, so I’ve lost several pounds.”

Her words were indirectly implying that Jenna had nothing to do whereas she had a busy and brilliant career.

“That’s right… I also heard that someone used persuasion to arrange the love confession. Was that you as well?”

Xavia looked astonished. Persuasion? “I had nothing to do with that! Stop talking nonsense!”

“Only you know whether it’s really nonsense or not. You were the closest to Sophia’s mother during that period of time, and she was so touched that she even declared you her goddaughter. Xavia, I really had no idea that you were so skilled. I think that I should really get to know you better.” Her sarcastic tone made it seem as if she was completely certain that it was Xavia’s doing.

She glared at Jenna as she said coldly, “Yes, you really should get to know me better. I’m no longer the Xavia Lockhart that you can bully. In the future, don’t disgust me with your presence.”
