Breathing a subtle sigh of relief, Zivon replied, “Where are you at the moment? I’m at your place.”

…He was where? Xavia had blacked out while she was trying to leave the parlor, and she had only recently awoken again. She had also just found out that Matthew had sent Zivon a reply on her behalf, and while she understood his actions, she knew that she needed to provide a proper explanation to Zivon to prevent him from getting too worried…

Snapping out of it, she then straightened her back as she replied, “Nothing, I was just thinking about thanking Doctor Rudner one of these days… That aside, why did you come looking for me this late?”

Forget sounding unenthusiastic to meet him, didn’t her tone carry a hint of irritation…? After taking a deep breath, he calmly said, “…We haven’t met in three days, you know?”

This startled Xavia. Had it already been three days?
