Upon hearing that, Zivon couldn’t help but smirk as he replied, “Whatever helps you sleep at night… Regardless, I’m only here to tell you to prepare three meals per day here for the next two days. Until then, don’t even think about leaving the house, and if I learn that you’re still in contact with Mark after this, you only have yourself to blame for what comes next! Just behave and your month will proceed as usual.”

After saying that, he left the room, leaving Xavia baffled. So… he had only come over to tell her all this…? As it turned out, she had simply misunderstood his intention… Though, behave? Just how submissive did he want her to be? What a headache…! As expected, Xavia had a hard time falling asleep that night…

When morning came, Zivon and Sophia left rather early, leaving Xavia all alone in the massive villa… Though she had assumed that she’d only have to cook and occasionally get chastised by Sophia during her time here, she soon found out just how wrong she was…

It was noon when Sophia returned to the villa and handed Xavia a small packet of powder while saying, “Slip this into his food tonight.”

Startled to hear that, Xavia replied, “…What exactly am I looking at…?”

“You’re overthinking it. Even I know that a drugged Young Master Burton won’t touch me, which is why I never considered sleeping with him in the first place. You should also know that the drug dosage is rather small, so his endurance won’t be affected too much.”

“Either way, just know that I’m doing this for some other reason which you’ll learn about soon enough! Just do as I say or stop trying to pretend to make amends! I’ll believe you’re sorry if you go according to the plan!” concluded the smirking Sophia, causing Xavia to frown.

Though Xavia didn’t really get it, the fact that Sophia was being so commanding meant that she couldn’t just disobey her anyway… That aside, she already knew that such drugs had no effect on Zivon, so Xavia knew that allowing Sophia to do as she pleased was the only way to convince that woman…

Either way, it was around six when Zivon finally returned… and by that point, Xavia had slipped only a smidgeon of the drug into Zivon’s meal…
