As the young Mark was handing Xavia the dessert, he had frowned and commented, “Gee, your hands are freezing! Here, take my scarf and enjoy the dessert while it’s hot!”

Before Xavia had even been able to reply, the boy had wrapped his scarf around her before running off! Unsure how to even respond to that, she ended up choosing to return to the house… only to hear him yell, “Oh, wait a minute!”

Upon turning around, she saw him handing her something that she wasn’t familiar with as he said, “Here, take my hand warmer too! If it starts getting cold again, just charge it for about ten minutes and it’ll be all toasty again!”

Back then, Xavia hadn’t heard of electronic hand warmers. Hell, she hadn’t even learned of regular hand warmers! After all, where she lived, they simply filled glasses with boiling water before wrapping a layer of wool around it to keep their hands warm... Regardless, that was the first time they had met… and boy was it a memorable event…

She could still recall how kind his smile was, and how warm she had felt after receiving his scarf and hand warmers… Her train of thought was finally cut short when she heard Mark softly say, “…Vee?”

After shaking the thoughts off, Xavia replied, “Um… Yeah… Why are you here again…?”

“Oh, I’m here because there may be an opportunity for us to work together. For context, I’ve contacted Miss Bianca before this, and she stated that your input was needed before she could make the decision. With that said, I’ve been waiting for you to return for a while now. As for why I came this early… Well, I have something to deal with at around nine.”

…Loveu? What a name… Though he felt that there was more to the name, he chose to put the side for the time being and replied, “…Well, I’m planning to relocate and develop my company here in the future, so… I was hoping that you'd be willing to be my brand’s spokesperson and help me promote it…”

…He… wanted her to be the face of his clothing brand…?! With her eyes widened in shock, Xavia quickly shook her head as she replied, “I-I’m sorry, but I can’t accept that…! Xavia, for one, had seen brands fall because of their poorly picked brand ambassadors, and she really didn’t want to bring such trouble to Mark’s door. Mark himself hadn’t expected the once sweet and innocent girl to be saying such things now…
