After hearing all that Harold had to say, Xavia couldn’t help but feel her heart throb. To think that the day of his abandonment would be that heart-wrenching… For that boy to be tossed out into the rain by his once loving mother… If the same had happened to her, would she even be able to regain her footing…?

It was a while later when Xavia finally said, “…Thank you for telling me all that, Teacher. I now believe that I’ve found a way to cheer him up. Um… Do you mind if I borrow your phone?”

Nodding in response, the smiling Harold replied, “Sure. It’s not like an old man like me will be scrolling through my phone in the dead of night anyway. Just make sure to return the phone to me tomorrow.”

“Will do, Teacher,” replied Xavia as she quickly returned to her room…

Once she was in bed again, she quickly located Zivon’s number before typing a text that read, ‘If you’re depressed, get out of that place. There’s no need to pressure yourself too much. Remember, you didn’t do anything wrong, Young Master Burton.’

With that in mind, she deleted her entire message before retyping it to state, ‘If you’re feeling depressed, feel free to return to Darlsbury. You're not the one at fault here, and I know since I was the one who picked you up that day. With that said, consider coming over to my place. Tea will be on me.’

Confident with this message, Xavia took a deep breath before sending it out… Alas, Xavia was unaware of one crucial thing… And that was the fact that Harold was unaccustomed to typing on flat screens! As a result, the old man only sent speech to text messages which often sounded rigid. Far more rigid than what Xavia had typed…
