“Are you from Aplos, Miss?” asked the cab driver.

“I am. Good eyes. That aside, could you please drive us here?” replied Xavia as she handed a picture of a small village—that Mark had earlier given to her—to the cab driver.

After taking a good look at the image, the driver replied, “I could, but the area is quite remote and it’s not going to be an easy drive back. In other words, the tab will be a little higher… That aside, that village is going to be demolished soon, and there’s nothing else in the surrounding area… What are you planning to do there, Miss?”

“I have a relative there, and since the village is going to be demolished soon, I figured I pay him a visit. That aside, don’t worry about the fees,” said Xavia in a serious tone.

After glancing at both Yulia and Xavia for a moment, the driver simply nodded before starting the car and driving off…

Alas, though Xavia hadn’t even recovered from her earlier disorientation, she would soon find out that the arduous journey to the village would take four whole hours… and when they finally arrived at five in the morning, she immediately vomited her guts out!

Regardless, upon hearing that, Yulia was quick to ask, “How long till we get there then, Mommy…?”

Gently picking her daughter up, Xavia then softly said, “We’re already at Snow Mountain Town… We’ll be able to meet Uncle Burton and Brother Maison after taking a snow car over…”

Pleased to hear that, Yulia quickly wiped her tears off while exclaiming, “T-that’s great…!”

Yulia herself was quick to add, “Uncle Burton is my future daddy! If you tell him about us, he’ll surely reward you! But if you don’t, we’ll both freeze to death out here and you’ll receive a terrible punishment!”

Naturally, the guard was rather taken aback by all this. Did this masked woman really know the almighty Young Master Burton…? But it was true that she had his phone number… What’s more, that adorable child didn’t seem to be lying either…

…Bah, it wasn’t much of a problem for him anyway! He may as well just inform Zivon about this… It’d be better than potentially getting himself in trouble due to his inaction…
