Averting his gaze, Maison then muttered, “…She just didn’t answer my calls since she doesn’t need our care anymore…”

Upon hearing that, Zivon let out a helpless sigh. While it was good that his son was this clear-minded… It didn’t change that her refusal to even pick up his calls was kind of rude.

Tossing the phone to the boy, Zivon replied, “…Maybe she’s busy. Here. Take the phone and call her again later.”

After saying that, Zivon headed outside to have his raging nerves frozen… As for Maison, he continued reading for a while… but eventually, he couldn’t help but browse through his father’s phone. He had simply wanted to read through their past messages to recall how lovey-dovey the two had been back then… But it didn’t take long for the boy to frown.

‘Got it. I apologize for the inconvenience. C’

…Both messages had ended with a ‘C’ at the end. Though ordinary people would’ve assumed that they were simply typos, those who dealt with computers would definitely understand that the ‘C’ was an error code. To be more precise, there were issues with the messages during the transmission process!

Since Maison was a natural when it came to such things, he immediately got his gear out and began looking into things. Finally, after being bored out of his mind for a few days, he had something to do again! As his fingers danced on the keyboard, he soon entered the two phone numbers… and after adding a few more codes, the boy’s eyes widened. There was no doubt about it.

Some hacker had prevented Zivon, Xavia, his, and his grandmother from contacting each other! This form of blocking didn’t require the affected people to blacklist each other, and apparently, the two messages had only been possible since Zivon and Xavia had left the hacker’s service area! However, it still resulted in the error C code.

“Still, it’s sad that the child isn’t right in the head… To think that she’d go all around thinking that her father was some random wealthy man… Either way, Sir was worried sick about her throughout her absence, but thanks to you, he can finally rest easy again…”
