Watching as Zivon re-entered the house, Zayne couldn’t help but sigh. As they said, heroes would always end up becoming prisoners of love… and it was finally Zivon’s turn. Sadly, this capable woman magnet of a man somehow chose Xavia to be the love of his life! He didn’t even care that she already had a daughter!

Truth be told, Zivon had been bothered by Zayne’s words… and when he got to the fridge, that doctor’s words echoed in his mind… A virgin complex, huh… What on earth could Xavia be talking about with Charlie in that private room right now…?

He finally snapped out of it when he felt an aching pain on his hand. Apparently, he had completely missed the fridge’s handle, and he had instead rammed his hand right into it! Rubbing the back of his hand, he then sighed before getting a glass of cold water to drink…

It was around then when he received another message from Nathan that stated, ‘Should I escort Miss Lockhart home, Young Master Burton?’

Attached to the message was a photo of Charlie pinning Xavia against the wall… and after seeing that, Zivon’s gaze grew fiery. It took him a while, but he eventually replied, ‘…It’s fine. Come home now.’

Moving back to the café, Charlie—who looked rather pissed by this point—couldn’t help but growl, “I’ve told you so much already, Xavia…! Why won’t you believe me?! Unless… I have to redo everything I did to you that night…! Maybe that will ring some bells…?!”

When this woman had first asked to meet up, he had assumed that he had scored gold… But ever since they entered this private room, all she had done was ask him about past events! It didn’t help that she was starting to ask him questions that he couldn’t answer! Now backed into a corner, he needed to resort to force!

Gritting her teeth, Xavia then landed a swift kick against his privates!

Howling in pain, the man collapsed onto the couch nearby! Covering his crotch the entire time, the agonized man eventually managed to growl, “H-how dare you…?! How are you going to compensate for the damage, huh?!”

Sophia herself—who had a monochrome blazer on—had a raised brow, as she replied, “…Did you call me over in the dead of night for this?”

Though she didn’t seem as awe-inspiring as before, Sophia still bore an aloof personality. That, however, did little to affect Xavia as she said, “You hired him, correct? Did I not tell you that I wouldn’t let you go if you tried anything funny after that last time, Miss Harrison? Since you don’t appear to understand English, this meeting was pretty much inevitable.”

Barely even worried that she was caught red-handed, Sophia then entered the room in her high heels while replying, “Congratulations, Miss Sherlock, though… Am I not merely helping things flow naturally?”

“…What do you mean?” asked Xavia, prompting Sophia to close the door behind her before taking a seat…
