It was Jenna! Though that woman remained as lovely-looking as ever, Xavia’s view on her had forever been tarnished ever since she saw her committing those unholy acts that night… Not wanting to spend any more time with Jenna than she needed to, Xavia growled, “What brings you here?”

Though she could sense the disgust in Xavia’s voice, Jenna ignored it and replied, “I just heard that you were admitted to the hospital, so isn’t it reasonable for your sister to pay a visit? Though from your tone, it makes me wonder if you no longer wish to see me just because you now have a successful career and a loving relationship.”

“Cut the pleasantries and just tell me what you’re after,” retorted Xavia, who knew all about Jenna by this point.

Glaring slightly at Xavia, Jenna replied, “I guess it’s true that those who’ve ascended the social ladder care little about their family, huh? Regardless, I’m here to tell you that Keith and I are planning to have a child. With that said, don’t you ever dare show up before him again or I’ll make sure we both lose! Remember, I still have your leverage in hand, and at the end of the day, you and Zivon aren’t all that clean.”

True enough, her relationship with Zivon wasn’t pretty on paper, especially when he was still married to Jenna… Still, she wasn’t going to allow Jenna to control her again! Following a deep breath, Xavia retorted, “You’re calling me unclean? When you and Keith did it in the manor’s yard?”

Keith had simply been using her as a stand-in for Xavia that night…! How humiliating for her to bring that up again!

Watching as Jenna clenched her fists, Xavia added, “Also, you want to bear his child? Good on you, but I hope that it isn’t the child of one of those men you hired back then. After all, I’m sure you know Keith isn’t stupid.”

Smiling subtly, Zivon then placed the stew he had bought for her on the table before saying, “Your sister may be great at acting, but you sure aren’t…”
