Wendy, for one, had been up to date with the news, so she knew that the woman talking to her was the same person who had abandoned Xavia back then for superstitious reasons. As such, she didn’t have a good impression of this person… but for Xavia’s sake, Wendy replied, “I suppose… Either way, I’m feeling a bit weary so I’ll head upstairs first. Oh, and Xavia? After the two had closed the door behind them, the displeased Mrs. Lockhart immediately grumbled, “Why did you stop me? That girl was clearly dissing us off!”
