Groggily turning to face the voice, she soon widened her eyes in shock. Was… Was that really him…?! Was she saved?! Nearly toppling over in her shock, she quickly shook her head while exclaiming, “M-Mark…!”

However, that was all she managed to say before she started falling forward! Thankfully, Mark was able to grab her in time! For context, he had come over to pay Xavia a night visit, but since the main door had been locked, he had no choice but to wait outside. In fact, he was just about to leave when he saw Xavia in her current state!

Regardless, his worry only increased when she saw how bloody the pale woman’s leg was. Gritting his teeth, he then lifted her up while saying, “Hang in there…! I’ll get you to Matthew so that he can treat you! You’ll be fine!”

“M-Mark…!”

Following that, he gave Matthew a call… and the second it was picked up, Mark said, “I’ll be over in ten minutes with Xavia. Start prepping to cure her.”

As all this was happening, Zivon himself was at the hospital with the kids. Zayne had requested for the top doctors in the hospital to check on the two, and after an hour of treatment, the two were now in stable conditions.

Patting Zivon on the back, Zayne was prompted to comfort, “Don’t worry, they’re fine for now… Still, Yulia’s body is quite frail, and she’ll be more prone to diseases compared to others… This could’ve been prevented if Xavia had told the truth about her daughter being yours a bit earlier, but there’s nothing we can do about that now…”
