Upon hearing that, Xavia couldn’t help but clench her fists. She was really tempted to tell him who the fool really was, but in the end, she refrained. It was going to be a useless effort anyway. With that in mind, she glared at Jenna and growled, “So, why are you here, huh? Trying to brag in my face one final time before I die?”

“…I’ve only come over to see you, sister. Sir, could we please have a moment…?”

Nodding in response, the guard respectfully replied, “But of course, Miss Lockhart, though do be careful. She’s prone to lashing out, you see. Don’t worry, we’ll be right outside if you need us.”

The second the guard closed the door behind him, Jenna revealed a smirk as she said, “Why else would I be here, you dolt? Here, just look at how intimate your beloved man was with me! He never even hesitated, and since I took ovulation drugs, there may very well be a child in my womb now!”
