...Crap. Zivon had specifically ordered him not to tell Xavia about this, and he was prohibited from taking Xavia back as well!

Now placed in a rather vexing situation, Nathan ended up muttering, “…If you head back now, we don’t know whether Kevin will look for more trouble... Aside from that, you’re currently injured, so the Little Master and Little Lady will surely feel worried if they see that. With that said, it’s best if you just stayed here…”

Xavia, however, remained worried, so she adamantly replied, “Mr. Miller, I need to head back. Look, you should know how good my relationship with Von is after working for him for so many years, right?”

Before Nathan could say anything else, Xavia added, “Don’t worry, if any problems arise on his side, I’ll be sure to take full responsibility.”

Following that, she put the food down and walked out, leaving Nathan feeling helpless. All he could do was send her back in the end…

To Xavia’s surprise, Zivon was nowhere to be found back in the villa. While continuing to look for him, she bumped into a pajama-clad Wendy who, upon seeing her, was prompted to say, “Xavia? Are you looking for Zivon…? He went out right after he put the kids to sleep… Did you two fight again…?”

“No, I just didn’t realize that he had left since I just came back from work… That aside, do get some rest. I’ll go get him back.”

“Alright, but do be careful, Xavia… Your brother’s a maniac who should be avoided at all costs,” replied Wendy, prompting Xavia to frown slightly. Was she implying that Zivon had been hurt that badly…? Shaking her head, Xavia then thanked the old lady for her advice before walking out of the villa…

Once she was outside, she was prompted to give Zivon a call…

…He was at the Saltman Hotel? But why? It took her a while, but she eventually turned to look at Nathan and said, “Please take me there.”

By this point, Nathan’s head was already throbbing even more. Zivon had already told him that he didn’t want her knowing where he was, and Nathan was honestly unsure whether there was someone there with him! What if that person was someone that Xavia couldn’t know about?!

Alas, he couldn’t decline her order either since that would make Zivon appear fishy… In the end, all he could do was sigh before starting the car and thinking, ‘…You’re on your own this time, Young Master Burton…’
