“That’s clearly the case!” growled the infuriated woman who still had no idea that she was the one who had bitten him!

“You, of course. Who else would get infuriated over what they did to themself? To think that I fell for a woman who’d get so unreasonable when she gets angry! Anyway, once you’ve calmed down, try remembering what you did last night. I’m taking my bath,” replied Zivon as he entered the bathroom with a sigh.

Though he could’ve easily explained the situation, he had a feeling that she wouldn’t listen given how mad she currently was. After all, she was already under the impression that he had cheated on her, and that alone made him slightly pissed! Regardless, it was probably better for her to just think for herself…

Naturally, all this left Xavia utterly speechless. Was he seriously still in the mood to bathe after all she had just said? And he had even called her unreasonable and dumb…! Yeah, as it turned out, she was pretty dumb for giving her heart to such a blasphemous man…! She deserved this pain…!

After wiping her tears, she walked out of the room… only to be greeted by the sight of the kids!

“Well, Mommy? How did the talk go?”

Upon hearing that, Xavia was filled with guilt. In the end, she knew that she wouldn’t be able to provide them with the perfect family that they needed… That aside, she didn’t like the idea of leaving them here with him. After all, Whitney would surely mistreat them!

Naturally, this instantly caused Zivon to worry. Not wanting his mother to get anxious, he ended up saying, “…I see. She must have headed out with the kids to sneakily get some junk food… Don’t worry about it and head back to bed, Mom. I’ll go fetch them back.”

“Alright, but don’t be too harsh on them… Sure, the food is unhealthy, but enjoying junk food once in a while is alright…”

“Will do, Mom,” replied Zivon as he returned to his room to put on something more presentable.

With that done, he grabbed his car keys and gave Xavia a call… only to be brought straight to voicemail. Had she turned her phone off? Or had she blacklisted him? Following a sigh, he gave Maison a call next. Alas, he was greeted by the same result! Did she have to control her children’s phones too?!

Rubbing his temple, he tried putting himself in her shoes. Where would she go with the kids…? Maybe her new apartment…? Or Dolly and Bianca’s places…?
