Hell, he’ll probably still make your life a living hell even if you play by all the rules!” grumbled Xavia.

Upon hearing that, Zivon couldn’t help but chuckle. Even if Ian sent a thousand soldiers and horses his way, he wouldn’t be daunted at all. The only thing he feared was the thought of Xavia hating him… Shaking his head, he then held her hands before saying, “As if I’d ever bully you after what happened… In fact, I’m arguably angrier about that incident than you are!”

…Even though she was willing to move on, it didn’t make that incident hurt any less! After all, who wouldn’t feel sad knowing that their partner had slept with someone else? Regardless, she then took him to a fancy restaurant near the neighborhood… and after getting a private room for them, she began ordering an array of healthy dishes.

Since this place was reserved for the upper-class, it made sense for the people working here to know all about the wealthy individuals from the capital… In other words, all the waitresses who were present recognized the two from a single glance!

“My God! It’s Young Master Burton and Xavia…! To think that they’re here in person…! What a match made in heaven…!”

“Hey, didn’t the two break up? Why are they still together?”

…Though they were whispering, they were still loud enough for Xavia and Zivon to hear. Clenching her fists, she was just about to say something when Zivon yelled, “Both of you! Come over here!”

“Don’t make me repeat myself. Also, you know what you said to deserve this!” scoffed Zivon without any hesitation. Before the waitress could even reply, one of Zivon’s bodyguards had already lifted her up… and shortly after, she found herself being tossed onto the streets!

Feeling dejected, the woman wailed until her friend came out. Upon seeing her, she was quick to ask, “W-what have I even done…?! Don’t you think he’s gone a bit too far…?”

Sighing in response, her friend replied, “…Look, he clearly heard you bad-mouthing Xavia… You only have yourself to blame for this…”
