Now as vexed as the other two, Chace gulped down a glass of wine… But that wasn’t enough to cool him down. With that, he opened yet another bottle of wine, leading to all three of them getting extremely drunk…

Back at her apartment, Bianca was feeling equally as troubled. She, for one, knew that Chace had been making a lot of effort to make up with her… Alas, she truly feared the thought of accidentally falling for him again. It was the reason why she had sent such mean words to him. Even so, maybe this was for the best. After all, if he finally let go of her, she’d be free of any potential heartaches.

Shaking her head, she then sent a message to the group chat, stating, ‘Young Master Burton and Young Master Xenos are apparently drinking right now… Chace says that it’s because of you two.’

‘You sure about that?’ asked Dolly.

‘No idea, that’s all he told me…’

‘He probably misunderstood the situation… After all, Young Master Xenos doesn’t like me at all. That aside, what’s up with Young Master Burton? Haven’t we told you not to make a fuss over Fiona, @Xavia?’ replied Dolly.

Upon seeing her name, the pitiful-looking Xavia couldn’t help but sigh. She, for one, had been lying in bed all day, and she had barely eaten a thing. The fact that she now knew that Zivon had been drinking because of her didn’t help with her appetite.

Come to think of it, the last time he had gotten drunk, it was because his mother wanted to return to the Burtons… The fact that he was drinking again now meant that she had truly broken his heart. Worried about his health, she was tempted to give him a call… but at the very last second, she stopped herself from doing so. After all, there was a high chance that he’d simply ignore her calls. What’s more, she didn’t really know what to say if he picked up either.

Alas, if only that tactic worked for her too…

Regardless, Xavia was left momentarily speechless after reading their messages. Thinking back, he always liked It whenever she acted coquettishly around him… He even told her that if she did that, he’d do whatever she pleased as long as she was clingy enough… Alas, this trick probably wasn’t going to work anymore, not after all that had happened…

Still, she didn’t want the two to worry about her, so she simply replied, ‘Alright, I’ll give it a go next time. Now, it’s late, so you two get some rest. Good night.’

Following that, she put her phone down before lying in bed… but no matter how much she tried, she simply couldn’t fall asleep. It was sometime later when a knock was heard on the door…
