...And after taking a deep breath, she sent Zivon a text that wrote, ‘Rest well. You don’t need to come over if you don’t want to.’

Unbeknownst to Xavia, Zivon had been present the entire time. He had been keeping a relatively low profile in a corner of the room, and adding that to the fact that his aura was extremely icy, nobody dared to pay him any attention.

Either way, it was shortly after when someone yelled, “They’re here!”

Looking in the direction the person was pointing, everyone was soon greeted by the sight of the royal family descending the stairs…

As usual, the righteous Homer and Ian were wearing formal suits. Yasmin herself had a long purple gown on, and she almost looked like she was glowing with how elegant she was. As for Xavia, her dress was a pastel pink, and with crystalline decorations all over it, she looked as dainty as a nymph.

“My word! What a truly stunning family! That’s the royal family for you!”

“I know, right? It’s almost as though I’m watching a movie!”

“Speaking of, that young lady is the one who recently reunited with them, right?”

“Apparently so! She looks absolutely adorable, and I’d love it if she was my daughter-in-law!”

“She belongs to the outstanding Young Master Burton, so don’t even think about it!”

“Couldn’t have said so better myself! Anyway, don’t you think their dresses look absolutely gorgeous?”

“Glad someone else agrees! I heard Mark was the one who designed them. Apparently he gave the dresses to them as gifts!”

After clearing his throat, Homer declared, “To everyone present! Thank you for taking the time to attend my wife’s birthday party!”

Smiling when she heard that, Yasmin added, “Truth be told, this party is a bit bigger than I would’ve usually hosted. However, there is a good reason why I invited so many of you today. Everyone, I’d like to introduce you to Xavia, my beautiful, beautiful daughter…”

Upon hearing her name, Xavia walked over to Yasmin’s side before bowing in front of everyone.

Holding her daughter’s hand, Yasmin then said, “We’re still unsure how the swap happened back then, but the fact remains that we’ve failed to protect her for over twenty years. With that said, we’d like to officiate something today.”

The second her sentence ended, two men walked up the stage, one of them holding onto a laptop.
