Though Fiona was slightly startled that he was still awake, it didn’t shock her that much. After all, he had always been a vigilant man. Shaking her head, she then replied, “…You said that you’d meet me tonight, yet even after waiting for ages, you never came…”

“You made that promise. I didn’t,” replied Zivon, instantly causing Fiona’s heart to sting.
