Breathing a sigh of relief, Fiona replied, “…Thank you, Zivon…!”

Following that, she began having breakfast with him… But beneath her bright smile, her heart remained bitter and saddened. Sharing his surprise, Xavia was first to say, “You’re already up, Von…? And here I was planning to surprise you with the best breakfast in the world… Anyway, my chef made this, and with how delectable it was, I knew I had to share some with you!”

Smiling in response, Zivon replied, “I see… Well, I already have some food on the table, so why don’t you have a second breakfast?”

Shaking her head, Xavia replied, “It’s fine, I’m already full. I can still watch you eat, though!”

“…Has being full ever stopped you from eating?” asked Zivon.

Realizing that he was talking about how she was still able to finish that steak after their meal the other day, Xavia averted her gaze and muttered, “…Are you calling me a glutton…?”

Unbeknownst to her, Fiona was already brimming with jealousy by this point. After all, Zivon remained aloof with her regardless of what she did, but when it came to Xavia, he immediately acted all warm and gentle!

Though she was pissed, she knew she couldn’t let Xavia know what had happened last night, so she clenched her fists and awkwardly replied, “…I’m… here to pass him his medicine… When I arrived, his mother was already on her way out, so I took the chance to make him some breakfast too…”

Choosing not to expose her blatant lies, Zivon seated Xavia by the dining table before saying, “Alright, let’s see what you’ve brought me…”
