With how close he was, Xavia couldn’t help but blush. After all, though the parting screen was shut, Mr. Cornwell could’ve easily overheard all that! Quickly grabbing Zivon’s hand, Xavia grumbled, “S-stop it…”

Chuckling in response, Zivon replied, “This isn’t even our first time doing this… That aside, are you sleeping at my place tonight again?”

Though he couldn’t fully have his way with her yet, he was permitted to hug and kiss her… and with how comfortable he felt around her, he definitely preferred if she stayed by his side.

Sadly, Xavia shook her head as she replied, “Brother’s already scolded me for hanging out with you for so long the last time… I really don’t want him slut shaming me again, and I need to keep the kids some company as well. Remember, they need to be loved more at their age…”

Her reasoning was sound, and since he didn’t want to make things difficult for her, all he could do was nod. However, instead of letting her go, he simply replied, “…Then we need to make the most of our time.”

Before Xavia could reply, Zivon had already planted his lips on hers!

“S-stop it…! Mr. Cornwell can hear us…!” whispered the embarrassed woman.

Raising a slight brow, Zivon replied, “Be sure to be extra quiet, then…”

Following that, he began passionately kissing her again… and before she knew it, his hand was already starting to move lower! How was she expected to remain silent when he was being so sensual?! Alas, he was far too domineering for her to even fight back, and all she could do was use most of her remaining strength to stay as quiet as humanly possible…

Since they weren’t exactly anywhere near Zivon’s villa, their passionate moment seemed to drag on forever… However, just as things were getting extra spicy, the car suddenly came to a stop!

Zivon himself simply watched the car drive off before finally entering the villa. Upon entering, Nathan was quick to walk up to him before saying, “The chef I’ve hired has arrived, Young Master Burton.”

Upon looking up, Zivon saw a tidy-looking man who had a few calluses on his hands, a sign of a seasoned chef. His train of thought was cut short when Nathan handed him some papers and added, “Here’s his resume.”

After skimming through it for a bit, Zivon had to admit that the chef had won a baggable amount of awards. What’s more, he had even worked in a five-star hotel and a postpartum care center before. He even had his own restaurant at one point! Thoroughly impressed, Zivon replied, “I see. You’re hired. Has the salary been negotiated?”

“It has, Young Master Burton. It will be fifteen thousand dollars, just as you had requested.”
