Before Stella could retort, Mark quickly walked up to them and said, “I apologize for what happened. I was shocked by what I saw, and I ended up hitting the brakes a bit too hard. This had nothing to do with Xavia, and if you require any form of compensation, feel free to state what you want.”

Looking at the tall man, Stella saw that he had a black suit on, as well as what appeared to be a white, alpaca fur coat. Though he seemed upright, he simultaneously felt easy to get along with… What’s more, even though she was practically naked by this point, he didn’t seem lustful at all. All in all, he seemed like a decent man…

It took her a while, but Stella eventually scoffed, “…It’s fine. Xavia’s my cousin, so since you were simply transporting her, I won’t hold this against you.”

Following that, she grabbed her clothes from Nathan before slipping them on again. This gave Nathan the chance to quickly begin wheeling Fiona away! He could deal with two women, but three? No way in hell!

Meanwhile, Zivon himself was facing a minor predicament. He was unable to start the fire, and just as he was about to get Nathan to give the management office a call, he was instead left surprised by the sight of Xavia and Mark walking toward the kitchen.

“Xav? What are you doing here?”

Hugging his arm, Xavia was quick to reply, “Well, Mark asked me to meet him in the afternoon, but I told him that I’d rather meet you, so… Here I am. That aside, how are you progressing? If things are getting too hard, then you can always quit for now…”
