Feeling that they may have gotten into an accident, Xavia quickly got Ian to send her over to their grandparents’ house…

Upon arriving, she was quick to say, “Grandpa? Stella took Von off somewhere, and I haven’t been able to contact either of them. Could you please try to call them?”

When he heard that, Julian simply replied, “Ah, don’t worry about that. This is all part of her plan.”

“…Come again?”

“Basically, since she only has a few days left before the challenge ends, she bought a helicopter and brought him to the place where they first met. She intends to stay there with him for a few days before allowing him to return.”

…Wasn’t… This technically a kidnapping? Feeling more flabbergasted than anything, Xavia muttered, “…Isn’t this a bit too much?”

Sensing the dissatisfaction in her tone, Julian replied, “It’s only fair for her to do this much. Remember, you were the ones who gave her this chance. Don’t worry, she knows when to give up, and if he remains unmoved by the end of all this, she’ll probably leave him alone after that.”

Xavia trusted that Zivon wouldn’t fall for that woman, but that didn’t change the fact that Stella was being way too overbearing… Alas, it wasn’t like she could do anything now. Feeling defeated, Xavia asked, “…Will they be in danger?”

Shaking his head, Julian replied, “She’s capable of taking ten men on her own, so I highly doubt it. You know how capable Zivon is as well, so together, they’re practically unstoppable.”

“…That’s good to know… Thank you,” muttered Xavia as she turned to leave with Ian.

Though Xavia was reluctant to take it, Dolly quickly accepted the card while saying, “God, you’re way too different from Kevin! Xavia’s really lucky to have a brother like you! With that said, thanks and we’ll be on our way!”

Following that, she pulled Xavia upstairs… and once they were out of earshot, Dolly added, “Hey… Let’s just try to enjoy ourselves, alright…?”

“…I literally have everything at home, so shopping doesn’t feel that fun anymore…”

“You say that, but you barely have the look of a wealthy woman. I guess being too thrifty in the past has its downsides, huh? Jokes aside, your brother has told me the gist of the situation on WhatsApp… And honestly? I don’t think you need to worry at all. In fact, I’m sure Young Master Burton will surprise you in the end.”

…As long as it wasn’t a bad surprise… Shaking her head, Xavia then watched as Dolly locked arms with hers before muttering, “…It’s not like I don’t trust him, but… It’s hard not to feel restless when I know that he’s being forced to be with someone he doesn’t like… It doesn’t help that I can’t step in to help him at all…”
