Moments after they called out to her, Xavia’s phone began ringing, and this prompted her to grit her teeth before weakly replying, “…I am… Don’t worry, just have a stomach ache… I’ll be fine in a moment…”

“That doesn’t sound good… Don’t worry, we’ll warm the bed up for you.”

“Yeah, and if the discomfort persists, then we’ll call a doctor over!”

Touched by their words, Xavia forced a smile as she told them that that sounded great… and after hoisting herself onto the toilet bowl again, she did her best to re-stabilize herself… What on earth was wrong with her…? Looking at her ringing phone, she realized that Matthew was calling her.

Raising a slight brow, the light-headed woman picked up… and the second she did, Matthew immediately said, “Xavia? Are you at the palace? If so, I need to meet up with you!”

“…I am, but… why do you sound so serious…?”

“It’s about your illness. I’ll elaborate once I’m there. See you in ten minutes.”
