Standing domineeringly beneath the chandelier, the three noblemen simply smirked. As if they’d go easy on him when this was most probably going to be their final shot at making things hard for him! The person who was marrying their precious sister!

Shaking their heads, they were quick to reply, “It’s only natural for us to challenge the person who’s about to marry our beloved sister!”

“Indeed! Besides, all this adds to the wedding’s festiveness, wouldn’t you say, brother-in-law?!”

Upon hearing that title, Zivon couldn’t help but smirk. He liked that title, and after fixing his tie, he calmly replied, “Right… sixty-six flights of stairs, which means a total of a hundred and thirty-two balloons… Very well! Open all of them, Nathan!”

Naturally, this stunned everyone, and they were quick to exclaim, “H-how bold…!”

“I love it! He’s probably the bravest groom I’ve ever met!”

Though Chace was usually calm and collected, he was now frowning a little as he said, “Zivon. Sixty-six tasks. Are you sure you can finish all of them…?”

“He’s right! What if they’re all difficult tasks? You may not even get to marry her by then!” added the worried Zayne.

Appearing completely unfazed, Zivon replied, “No worries. You don’t marry someone every day, so I may as well go all out! Open them, Nathan!”

“…Very well! Open them!” ordered Nathan, prompting all his men to start bursting the balloons open… and soon enough, confetti and tiny ribbons were flying all over the place as red banners rolled out from the popped balloons one by one. A truly festive scene!

Though the tasks were too difficult to complete, some were rather… undesirable, to say the least. Was Zivon seriously expected to sing and confess to his best man?

In the end, Zayne couldn’t help but complain, “Hey, aren’t you three planning to get married in the future too…? What if we do the same to you when the time comes?”

Chuckling in response, Ian replied, “That’s a matter for the future. Focus on your current ordeals, alright?”

Zivon himself hadn’t stopped smiling. Though he would’ve surely turned away if this was someone else’s wedding, the fact remained that this wedding was for him and his beloved… In other words, even though the tasks were humiliating, he was happy to fulfill them if it meant that he was going to be able to get one step closer to the love of his life!
